We are a domestic, Christian missional school: a private, urban, Christian, elementary school (Pre-Kindergarten – 8th Grade). Our Class sizes range between 15 and 20 students. Teacher/Student Ratio is 1:15.

POSITION TITLE: PE Teacher
SCHOOL YEAR: 2025/2026
SUPERVISOR: Principal
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / Duties include but are not limited to:
- Teaches knowledge and skills in physical fitness, health education, and individual, dual, or team sports to primary students,
- utilizing a course of study algined to state/national standards.
- Instructs students in citizenship, basic communication skills, and other general elements of the course of study common to all teachers, as specified in state law and administrative regulations and procedures.
- Works cooperatively with administration and staff in planning a balanced physical education program, adapting daily schedules to accommodate weather conditions and to provide time for transitions, instruction, exercise, and sports activities.
- Utilizes a variety of instructional skills and methods; vary instructional modes to accommodate student needs, interests, learning style, and ability levels; provide individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of students.
- Maintains school standards of pupil behavior required to provide an orderly and productive environment, in cooperation with the school administration.
- Exhibits appropriate conduct in the handling of student emergencies.
- Selects and recommends requisitions for equipment and instructional supplies; Instructs students in proper care and use of materials and equipment
