What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concierge Specialist position at The French Agency?
Concierge – Luxury Residential Building
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay: $22 - $26 per hour
About the Role
We’re looking for a personable and proactive Concierge to provide a welcoming and professional presence at a luxury high-rise condominium. This role goes beyond basic front-desk duties—you’ll be the first point of contact for residents, ensuring every interaction is warm, helpful, and engaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Warm & Personalized Interactions: Greet residents by name and engage in friendly conversation. (e.g., “Hello Mr. Jones, welcome back!”)
- Proactive Assistance: Take initiative rather than waiting for requests. (e.g., “Hi Ms. Rodriguez, can I assist you with anything today?”)
- Professional Communication: Maintain polished written and verbal communication, including emails and HOA website updates.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Multi-task effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support Resident Services: Assist with minor package deliveries, coordinate with security, and maintain a welcoming lobby environment.
Why You’ll Love This Role
- Beautiful Work Environment: Quiet, elegant lobby with only 64 condo units—no overwhelming crowds or noise.
- Support Team Available: A daytime security guard assists with various duties, so you’re never handling everything alone.
- End-of-Year Bonus: Residents contribute to a voluntary holiday fund (~$500 in the first year, increasing over time).
Schedule & Benefits
- Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch).
- Holidays: No standard paid holidays (hourly non-exempt), but if you work a holiday, you’ll be paid for it.
- Sick Leave: Accrued per AZ law.
Top 3 Must-Haves
- Exceptional Communication & Personality: Friendly, welcoming, and professional in all interactions (in person, phone, and email).
- Highly Organized & Efficient: Ability to multi-task without missing details.
- Website Content Management: Ability to post/edit announcements, review resident emails, and maintain clear written communication (not technical website skills, just good writing abilities).
If you’re an outgoing, detail-oriented professional who enjoys creating a positive experience for residents, we’d love to hear from you!
