A Day In The Life
The Senior Project Manager, responsible for the oversight of the entire project lifecycle from project initiation to implementation for large, high priority project teams with significant complexity and/or impact. Provides guidance and mentorship to less experienced project team members. Actively participate and contribute to the continued development of an Enterprise Project Management Office. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for accomplishing project deliverables within budget and time constraints and is expected to effectively direct and communicate with respective project teams and stakeholders. This position will also be expected to discover and share insight on potential business process improvements, as well as assist with the change management process as improvements are implemented. The Senior Project Manager will function as a catalyst for project delivery and affect positive change within the organization.
As a Sr Project Manager you will:
- Develops and maintains relationship with stakeholders, business owners, project sponsors, executives and vendors; provides strategic guidance and insight.
- Analyzes business objectives and system requirements to define project scope, risks and budgetary constraints.
- Determines resource requirements and scheduling of resources accordingly.
- Develops project schedule and assigns individual responsibilities.
- Provides work direction to project team including assignment and review of project work.
- Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
- Tracks project cost, risks, resource requirements and timelines.
- Identifies project-related problems, develops creative solutions and implements solution.
- Creates and maintains project documentation including project charter, project plan, project schedules, project files and status reports.
- Generates project status reports and presents updates to key stakeholders and executive team.
- Manages project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks.
- Accountable for third-party performance and deliverables.
- Manages vendor integration and monitors quality of vendor deliverables.
- Continuously monitors project needs and conducts quality reviews; escalates scope, budget, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
- Help define and adhere to Project Management Methodology and other standards established within the PMO.
- Works with various project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and/or Smartsheet.
- Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle consumer and customer data per applicable policies and procedures.
What We Need From You
- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university. Req
- 7-9 years experience and training in medium to large size organizations. Required
- Must have strong leadership and project management skills
- Strong leadership presence and facilitation skills
- Works independently; may require guidance in highly complex situations
- Must have advanced to expert level knowledge about Project Management best practices
- Must be highly motivated, pay great attention to detail, be proactive and results oriented
- Must be able to effectively communicate and gain credibility within an organization
- Experience with the Agile Methodology as it relates to Technology and Software Development projects is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of automotive and/or insurance would be preferred.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI Preferred
Physical and Environmental RequirementsThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the work day and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

Salary : $109,000 - $185,200
