Job Title: Data Processor Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Data Processing Manager
Summary: Responsible for providing a variety of data entry functions, including processing account maintenance, application requests, and other data entry. Answers phone calls from customers and co-workers concerning debit cards, internet banking, and disputed transactions Actively performs specific assigned side-jobs including various clerical functions and assists other Data Processors with duties as required. Serve customers and employees promptly and professionally.
Essential Duties
- Balance each day's transactions for DDA, Loan, and Certificate of Deposit.
- Perform a broad variety of customer service functions such as uploading accounts, closing accounts, and assisting customers with bookkeeping and account problems.
- Answers customers’ questions regarding the bank services provided and performs a variety of account maintenance duties.

- Account set-up and maintenance

- Debit Card Dispute Processing
- Answer/address electronic banking questions and concerns
Non-essential Duties
Other duties as assigned by management.
Anticipate technology and equipment needs
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Data Processing Department.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be well organized
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Training and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; or
- One to three months related experience and or training: or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
