SUMMARY / /
Hybrid Gym & Café Staff are key customer facing employees, seamlessly working between the Front Desk, the Café, and throughout the gym. Gym staff perform the majority of the daily gym duties, including managing daily desk and gym operations, membership management, customer service, merchandise sales and facility cleaning duties. This role also performs floor monitoring duties ensuring adherence to set safety standards. Café Staff maintain the cafe, provide upbeat, friendly, and professional service while taking orders and serving patrons. Prepare food for patrons while ensuring recipe adherence, plate presentation, and uncompromising quality food.
GYM STAFF DUTIES / /
- Welcomes guests & members, ensures proper check-in's, and enforce wavier and entrance policies;
- Complete facility tours with an emphasis on amenities, offerings, and member benefits;
- Sign up new members, ensures active memberships, collects appropriate membership paperwork, updates customer information and ensures membership procedures are followed;
- Answers phone, takes messages, obtains prices quotes and answers basic climbing and facility questions;
- Communicates facility offerings, events, & promotions to members;
- Performs sales work, such as assisting customers with merchandise , promoting memberships and gym offerings, exchanging merchandise and acepting returns;
- Support Event's team during small to large scale events, ranging from competitions, music series, vendor markets, etc;
- Fulfills daily cleaning duties such as laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning of facilities;
- Performs scheduled walk-throughs, noting areas of concerns or issues on I-pad;
- Delivers some climbing training instruction when necessary;
- Communicate facility, customer, or risk related issues with management;
- Additional duties as assigned;
