What You'll Do
As a Landscaper, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving the look and feel of our properties by:
- Performing routine groundskeeping: mowing, weeding, pruning, edging, and debris removal.
- Planting and maintaining grass, flowers, trees, shrubs, and other greenery.
- Installing and servicing irrigation systems, including seasonal startup and winterization.
- Applying fertilizers and pest control products responsibly and effectively.
- Handling seasonal tasks like snow removal and property winterization.
- Using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment (e.g., skid steers, excavators).
- Supporting special projects like hardscaping, water feature installation, and light cement work.
- Inspecting properties and communicating needs or hazards with the Facilities Manager.
- Maintaining accurate records of completed work.
- 5 years of relevant experience (combination of hands-on work and/or formal training).
- At least 1 year in landscaping or maintenance roles.
- Expertise in irrigation systems is a big plus.
- General maintenance skills, including light electrical and plumbing.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A self-motivated, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to great customer service.
- Valid Drivers License Required
