Job Description
The Funplex Amusement Center is the ultimate destination for Family FUN! We offer a high energy environment, great food and beverage, and rides and attractions that will be enjoyed by all ages. We are seeking an Assistant Party Manager for our Mount Laurel location to lead our local Birthday Party Team. If you are a current Sales Leader that lights up the room when you enter, capable of showing others the influence and finesse of maximizing a guest’s party experience and love the opportunity and challenge that comes with parties, we are looking to hear from you!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Facilitate entertaining birthday parties
- Schedule, coordinate and manage birthday party sales, hosts and runners
- Develop your team to create a fun and enthusiastic environment for all guests
- Organize and implement birthday schedules and events
- Manage and schedule party office sales team, hosts and runner.
- Maintain reservations and prepare reports
- Oversee/provide clean up following parties
- Ensure that party sheets are completed both accurately and on time
- Daily party schedule
- Food & Beverage spreadsheet
- Guest surveys
· Maintains inventory of party supplies, office supplies and uniforms
· Maintains open communications with management of scheduled events
· Develop and implement post-party follow up and referral process
· Assists and supports the party sales team on all birthday related questions/concerns
· Operates Point of Sale (POS) system including deposits and party transactions
· Provides or performs other services or duties as required by Party Manager and Director of Sales.
Candidate Qualifications:
· 3 to 5 years of related experience in sales preferably in hospitality/service/event/catering industry, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
· Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Office and CRM
· Strong leadership and people skills, plus the ability to build and foster a team environment
· Able to cultivate a positive environment
