The Funplex Amusement Parks are seeking a Social Media Content Creator Intern to help bring our parks to life online! This role is heavily focused on content creation, including capturing high-quality photos and videos of guests, rides, water parks, events, and more. If you're a creative storyteller who thrives on social media trends and loves crafting engaging content, this is the internship for you!

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Production:

• Capture and produce high-quality photo and video content across all Funplex social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn).
• Film and edit engaging short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Stories) showcasing rides, attractions, and guest experiences.
• Take high-resolution photos of park guests, rides, and special events, ensuring a dynamic mix of indoor and outdoor visuals.
• Assist in brainstorming, planning, and executing content strategies to keep our social media fresh and engaging.
• Stay on top of current social media trends to create content that resonates with our audience.
• Work closely with the marketing team to organize and maintain a library of high-quality digital assets.
• Interact with guests and team members daily to capture compelling content that showcases the park experience and enhances our social media presence.

Social Media & Strategy:

• Help manage daily social media postings, ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging.
• Engage daily with accounts across all platforms to foster interaction and community growth.
• Monitor social media trends, viral challenges, and new platform features to keep content relevant.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content calendars.
• Work closely across Funplex team departments to coordinate and curate content across all platforms.
• Analyze content performance and adjust strategies for maximum engagement.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Experience in photography and videography (portfolio or examples required).
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Rush, CapCut).
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and content best practices.
• Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
• Strong storytelling and creative thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with motion graphics and animation.
• Knowledge of social media scheduling tools.
• Understanding of social media analytics and content performance tracking.

Job Type: Full-Time Internship In-Person

Compensation: $17 an hour and college credit available

Location: South Jersey Area (Mount Laurel, NJ) - Occasional travel to East Hanover, NJ park location required.

Schedule: Full-time. In-Person Tuesday through Saturday.
