The Furniture Warehouse, a top 100 Independent Furniture Retailer in the country, is seeking to fill a full-time Customer Service Receptionist/Administrative Assistant position in our Port Charlotte, FL store. Come be part of a growing team!
Primary Responsibilities
- Greeting customers as needed, respond to customers questions, and provide outstanding customer service
- Answer incoming calls, direct calls to the appropriate employees, take messages when needed, make calls, and check voicemail
- Perform data entry in the retail software management system
- Print and work daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Review invoice and credit memos
- Process finance paperwork
- Balance cash on hand, prepare bank deposits and make daily bank deposits
- Perform customer survey calls after the delivery has been completed
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication, listening and follow up skills
- Highly organized
- Ability to multi-task
- Professional and positive demeanor
- Ability to pass background check
- Availability to work Saturdays
