Position Summary
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Director of Marketing with a proven track record in the apparel industry, particularly with experience in managing relationships and marketing strategies for chain retail stores. This role is critical to ensuring the success of our brand across multiple channels, including brick-and-mortar retail partners, e-commerce, and direct-to-consumer initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility and drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align marketing initiatives with company goals.
- Retail Partner Collaboration:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with chain store partners to implement tailored marketing programs.
- Oversee in-store marketing campaigns, promotions, and visual merchandising efforts.
- Analyze sales performance and adjust strategies to optimize outcomes for chain retail partners.
- Campaign Management:
- Lead the creation of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including digital, print, and in-store.
- Drive seasonal product launches and coordinate co-marketing opportunities with retail chains.
- Brand Development:
- Ensure brand consistency and positioning across all marketing channels.
- Identify opportunities for brand partnerships and collaborations to enhance market presence.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, including ROI, customer engagement, and sales trends.
- Present actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8 years of experience in marketing within the apparel or retail industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience working with chain retail stores, including campaign planning and execution.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, consumer behavior, and visual merchandising.
- Expertise in digital marketing, social media strategy, and e-commerce platforms.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and software, such as CRM systems, analytics platforms, and project management tools.
