What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Associate position at The Game Fortress?
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Assist customers in finding the right products based on their needs and preferences, especially to give gaming recommendations or advice
- Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers (i.e. Game Demos)
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic computer skills for operating point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of tabletop games (board games, CCGs, miniatures, TTRPGs, etc.)
- Previous experience in retail sales
