Primary Responsibilities :
The Dietary Aide is responsible for the preparation, service, and cleanup of meals for assigned Assisted Living and Terrace areas.
- Prepares meals in accordance with ordered diets, preferences, and special needs with attention to food production requirements
- Serves meals in accordance with the established menu and consideration for the individual resident food requirements using established standards for handling hot / cold menu items
- Sets up and loads the food delivery carts for all meals
- Clears tables and collects the service ware and transports to the dish machine
- Operates and deep cleans equipment in the main kitchen and Assisted Living / Terrace kitchenettes and / or dining rooms
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Ability to perform dietary functions in a health care setting
Education and Experience :
High School or GED, required
