**Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Position**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our team at The Gardens at Winsted.
About the Role
The LPN is responsible for providing high-quality direct routine care to tenants, under the supervision of the RN or AL Clinical Manager, in accordance with the Service Plan, Minnesota BON standards, the Tenant's Bill of Rights, and the campus Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and modify tenant Plans of Care, implementing interventions delegated, ordered, or prescribed by the RN or physician.
- Collect and compare tenant health data, reporting changes and/or responses to interventions in an ongoing manner to the RN.
- Assign and monitor nursing tasks or activities of unlicensed nursing staff, assessing their knowledge, skill, and capabilities.
- Perform all nursing activities to support tenants in achieving and maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
Requirements
- Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
- Current Minnesota License as a Practical Nurse.
- Current Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care.
