What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Guest Experience Associate position at The Gardens Mall?
Currently hiring energetic crew members to help children and their families make happy springtime memories in our upcoming GardenLand Game promotion, March 21st through April 19th, at The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida!
Among crew duties are: Greeting and Informing Guests of how the game is played. Assisting children in playing the game. Awarding prizes. Accurately accepting game-play payments and making change.
Probably the most important and challenging part of the job is playing the game with the participating children. This is a repetitive activity and it requires a lot of walking, listening, explaining, and bending down to the level of the children.
Strengths must include having a positive, pleasant, outgoing personality, good grooming (no extreme hair, nails, or makeup, no obviously visible tattoos, no extreme piercings), punctuality, being a team player, being in good physical shape, and having excellent English language communication skills with Children and Grownups.
Successful applicants must be available to work four to five regularly scheduled, 4 hour long shifts per week for the entire 4 week season, plus 1 mandatory training session, 7:00 pm, Thursday, March 20th.
The shifts we are looking to fill are Mondays through Saturdays 11 am to 3:00 pm, Mondays through Saturdays 3:00 to 7:00 pm, and Sundays noon to 6:00 pm. This is a temporary, seasonal position, but we have similar opportunities available throughout the year.
Guest Service experience is preferred but not necessary. We will train you in our program, and we provide a whimsical workplace, a uniform, and a great team to work with.
Applicants must be cleared to work in the US and be able to pass a criminal background check.
