GUEST SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE
JOB OVERVIEW: The Guest Services team is trained to provide exceptional service, offering guests information regarding stores, restaurants, amenities and events at The Gardens Mall, plus services to make the Guest Experience most convenient and enjoyable.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand for up to eight hours, bend and lift twenty pounds.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
· Staffs the Information Desk answering questions about and communicating retailer and restaurant information, restrooms, security, lost and found, local hotels special events, promotions and any other key details regarding the Center. Guest Services must know the names, location and product categories of all Gardens Mall tenants.
· Front line position having regular interaction with customers and tenants.
· Ensures Guest Services level of expectation is exceeded and represents The Gardens Mall and The Forbes Company brand standards.
· Manages the day to day operations and amenities of the Information Desk including open and close, guest relations, merchant relations, stroller rentals, Kipsu online chat feature, gift card sales, and inventory control.
· Communicates information, feedback, comments and complaints from guests to the Mall Management Office and/or Manager on Duty.
· Keeps the booth organized and clean on a daily basis.
· Keeps all policies and procedures up-to-date.
· Keeps weekly/monthly inventory of all materials for the Information Desk and communicates with the Director of Marketing & Merchant Relations when an order needs to be placed.
· Keeps daily/monthly track of gift card sales.
· Interacts with Marketing Department and provides support as needed. Provides support and assistance to co-workers and other departments as requested; participates in team meetings and efforts to implement the Center’s projects and achieve the Center’s goals.
· Assists with monthly Kids Club events, mall pop-ups and special events as scheduled/needed.
· Responsible for maintaining a professional physical appearance including marketing materials, displays, signage, etc. and ensuring all displayed information is current and relevant.
· Implements and follows all cash handling procedures per corporate guidelines.
· Maintains confidentiality and follows the code of ethics.
· Strong sales and customer service skills are essential.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
