Infant Assistant Teacher

The Gardner School of Cincinnati is seeking passionate and dedicated qualified teachers to join our professional team of educators!

The Gardner School is a state-of-the-art, educational program for young children and their families. Our school in Cincinnati is growing in enrollment and looking to add the best and brightest to our team. Ideal candidates will have some college education and some experience with young children.

Responsibilities:

• Greet each child by name and acknowledge parents during drop off and pick up times daily.

• Ensure the safety of each child.

• Maintain confidentiality of school directives, curriculum and software.

• Read, understand and implement all policies and procedures of The Gardner School and all State Licensing Agencies.

• Maintain professional and positive relationships with the parents and coworkers.

• Advise the Director or Assistant Director of any supplies needed for the upcoming months.

• Follow the standards set forth for the conduct and responsibilities of all staff members who come in contact with children.

Assistant Teacher Desired Skills, Qualification and Experience:

• Professional experience of taking care of Infants ranging from 6 weeks -12 months.
• Must love working with children and have a loving and nurturing personality.
• Excellent communication skills, including personal face-to-face communications with parents, staff, and children.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Assisting the Lead teacher in following the Gardner school standards and curriculum.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
