Essential Job Duties:
Lead Teachers:
- Develop and maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment
- Plan and execute age-appropriate weekly lesson plans
- Participate actively with peers through communication, collaboration, and curriculum
- Facilitate regular parent/guardian communication and conferences to discuss orientation, transitions, and developmental goals
- Meet state licensing requirements for education and experience
Assistant Teachers:
- Assist lead classroom teacher with planning and implementing curriculum program which reflects observations and goals
- Participate in parent communication
- Develop and maintain a safe, nurturing, and healthy learning environment in which children can grow and learn
- Meet state licensing requirements for education and experience
- Must be able to lift to 60 pounds as in lifting, carrying, and holding infants and children
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- *CDA or Associates minimum required for Lead Teacher position
