What are the responsibilities and job description for the EMS GNSS Electromagnetic Attack (EA) Test, Training, and Exercise Analyst position at The Garrett Group?
We are seeking a highly qualified Electromagnetic Spectrum Testing, Training and Exercise Support Specialist to provide support for Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) Electronic Attack (EA) Testing, Training, and Exercise (TT&E) activities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electromagnetic spectrum operations, as well as a deep understanding of GNSS EA TT&E processes. The candidate must hold a Top Secret clearance and be capable of managing and executing complex analysis, reporting, and documentation related to TT&E events.
Key Responsibilities :
Yearly Analysis Report :
Develop and submit a comprehensive Yearly Analysis Report that summarizes the past year's GNSS EA TT&E events.
Identify and address challenges encountered throughout the testing and exercise events, pinpointing any deficiencies and providing actionable insights.
Analyze the utilization of the electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) environment in support of DOD GNSS EA TT&E and assess its effectiveness.
Conduct thorough research, evaluate the results, and provide recommendations for improvement in future testing.
Deliver the final Yearly Analysis Reports to the appropriate stakeholders, ensuring all findings are well-documented and presented.
Approval Memos :
Administer the GNSS EA TT&E process from initial tester submissions through the execution of events and eventual event approval.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that all event submissions meet the required standards and facilitate timely execution.
Draft, manage, and track approval memos throughout the entire TT&E lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with DOD guidance and protocols for all testing events.
Prepare and deliver final Approval Memos for each event, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes are followed.
Qualifications :
Clearance : Active Top Secret clearance is required.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications, or related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electromagnetic spectrum operations, GNSS systems, or related fields.
Demonstrated expertise in electromagnetic spectrum testing, training, and exercise support in a DoD or government environment.
Proven experience developing detailed technical reports and documentation for senior stakeholders.
Familiarity with GNSS Electronic Attack (EA) and the associated testing and evaluation processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and make actionable recommendations.
Skills and Abilities :
Knowledge of DOD electromagnetic spectrum management policies, procedures, and best practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to senior officials.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
