What are the responsibilities and job description for the District Manager position at The Gas Spot?
Position Summary: The District Manager will contribute to the success of the G-Spot Brand, performing all duties and responsibilities professionally while embodying our company’s core values. The District Manager will create a positive environment for both our employees and our customers. You will assist in hiring qualified individuals and assist in their training and certification needs. As a District Manager, you will develop plans and follow through to drive the success of the business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple stores at once
- Provide effective training for new store managers
- Travel to store locations at least 2-3 times per month
- Complete payroll maintenance
- Oversee scheduling process
- Maintain company standards consistently at each store
- Analyze sales and business reports to improve sales
- Maintain health and food standards in stores
- Adhere to federal and state laws with regards to selling age restricted products
- Perform routine inventory and monitor for expired items
- Effectively implement price changes
- Provide ongoing support for teams
- Interview and Onboard managers at all levels as needed
- Establish and maintain relationships with employees, customers, and vendors
- Recruit as needed
- Maintain company security and safety standards
Requirements:
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Complete training/certification for age restricted items, UST training, and ServSafe
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 7 hours
- Basic math skills sufficient to complete orders, manager cash registers, and calculate inventory
- At least 1 year of customer service or convenience store experience preferred
