The Gathering Spot is a fast-paced and innovative company seeking a creative, organizes, hard-working, and team-playing Events Planner to assist with all events at our Los Angeles club. The Events Planner will work closely with the Food and Beverage team as well as operations and hospitatlity staff. This role involves frequent engagement with clients via phone, email and in person. Must have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

Job Requirements:
- Strong connection, knowledge, and interest in relevant cultural happenings and events
- Impeccable Multi-tasking and Leadership Skills
- Prior events experience not mandatory but preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously
- Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure
- Able to work indoors and outdoors, lift lifting and long periods of walking and standing for extended periods of time
- Able to balance internal priorities with client expectations
- Able to work late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays
- Plan and manage event logistics including day-of coordination for both private and member events
- Sells event space and food and beverage package to potential clients.
- Ideate, plan, and coordinate the execution all member programming
- Communicate with the marketing team to ensure effective communications and advertisements for member events
- Administrative tasks associated with executing successful events
- Handling budgeting and invoicing
- Liaising and negotiating with vendors and talent
- Handling post-event reports
