Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Manager to oversee all culinary operations at The Gathering Spot. The ideal candidate will not only excel in traditional food and beverage management but will also bring substantial experience in brand partnerships and event creation. This role requires someone who can maintain operational excellence while developing unique F&B experiences that align with our brand and enhance member engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesFood & Beverage Operations- Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional quality, service, and consistency
- Manage inventory, cost controls, and budget planning for all F&B departments
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing culinary and service team
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Create and update menus seasonally, focusing on innovation and member preferences
- Monitor quality control and guest satisfaction metrics
- Identify and secure strategic brand partnerships with beverage, food, and culinary equipment companies
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements and manage partner relationships
- Integrate partner products authentically into the club's F&B offerings
- Create co-branded experiences that benefit both The Gathering Spot and partner brands
- Track and report on partnership ROI and member engagement metrics
- Conceptualize and execute signature food and beverage events, from intimate tastings to large-scale productions
- Design innovative culinary experiences for members and special events
- Collaborate with the events team to create customized F&B packages for private events
- Oversee event staffing, production timelines, and execution
- Develop post-event analysis to continually improve offerings
- 5 years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a high-end restaurant, club, or hospitality setting
- Proven track record of developing and managing brand partnerships in the food and beverage sector
- Demonstrated experience in conceptualizing and producing successful food and beverage events
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization
- Experience leading and developing teams of 10 staff members
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Creative vision and ability to translate concepts into executable plans
- Strong network of industry contacts and relationships
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of current food and beverage trends, techniques, and innovations
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office suite
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Sommelier, Cicerone, Food Safety Management) a plus
