The Gathery is looking for an Art Director - Experiential Marketing
The Gathery Inc. is seeking a talented full-time Art Director and Graphic Designer to work directly with the Creative Director and Founders on marketing and event-based projects. The ideal candidate is well-versed in the creative process with a fierce passion for good design. They should be able to take projects from concept to final production and lead a team of fellow creatives to achieve such an end. This individual must possess great communication skills to present concepts and designs at internal meetings and, on occasion, with clients.
Types of projects include branding, logo creation, menu design, environmental signage, web design, invitations, apparel, marketing collateral, technical and to-scale floorplans, mood boarding, and digital presentations.
The ability to render 3D environments is critical and required for this job. Please do not apply if you are not well-versed in Sketch-Up and the Adobe Creative Suite.
Requirements :
- BA / BFA in Graphic Design
- 5-8 years of marketing / advertising / design experience
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as in groups
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and Keynote
- Mastery of Sketch-Up
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office
- Fluency in the fundamentals of design and detail-oriented
- Strong eye for layout design and typography
- Ability to lead a team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong project / time management and multitasking abilities
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Strong conceptual skills and good knowledge of current design trends
- Knowledge of paper finishes, print materials, and all print methods
- Knowledge of building finishes, materials, and construction methods
- Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
- A strong portfolio showing past design work
