About The Position
The Project Director fully implements the research study under the direction

Salary Range
$120,000 - $145,000. Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate’s related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
Management Responsibilities
- Monitors staffing, hiring, salary negotiations and performance review processes for staff
- Conducts counseling, corrective action, up to and including termination
- Plans and facilitates individual and team meetings
- Assures all staff complies with Foundation and site policies, procedures and SOPs
- Develops, manages, and mentors staff by providing training, guidance and feedback through reviews and meetings
- Provides support, as needed, in the development and documentation of policy and best practice guidelines and internal controls
- Provides technical direction and overall supervision and guidance to department to ensure compliance with all federal, state and governing regulations/laws
- Provides day-to-day leadership enabling the program’s success
- Determines the project schedule of research study
- Supports allocation of appropriate resources
- Oversees award administration and deliverables
- Orchestrates process design and implementation of research study
- Promotes safety and confidentiality of research participants at all times
- Adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Good Laboratory
- Practices (GLP), Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and infection control procedures
- Demonstrate proficiency in performing basic study related procedures as required
- Maintains collaborative research environment between the Principal Investigator, other site personnel, research participants, The Geneva Foundation and the funding organization
- Prepares interim and final progress reports
- Participates in analysis of the data and the preparation of the manuscript, as applicable
- Maintains an updated literature library of journal articles related to the research topic
- Maintains the security and confidentiality of all research records
- Maintains and update files of all applicable regulatory documentation for IACUC or IRB (including protocols, approvals, amendments, modifications, etc.) as well as any communications with the sponsor or any other Federal or regulatory office
- Military medical experience with a background running medical operations at a senior level, in prolonged field care and emergency medicine highly desired
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required, Advanced Degree preferred
- 4-6 years experience in research management preferred
- 4-6 years non-profit, research, or healthcare experience desired
- 3-5 years experience in planning, organizational, communications, and management skills
- Demonstrate competence in oral and written communication
- Must be organized, attentive to detail, and possess a positive, friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to execute the vision of the organization in response to changing conditions
- Ability to provide strong leadership, innovative thinking, creative planning, and effective motivation skills to staff
- Ability to be flexible with changing priorities and available to interact with employees, clients and sponsors of all levels
- Ability to exercise independent judgment in fast-paced, high-pressured environment with strict deadlines and to manage multiple projects
- Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results
- Computer skills including at least intermediate level experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office Software
