About the Position
The Non-Clinical Project Manager is responsible for independently managing all aspects of project progress, fiscal control, customer service, staffing, product development and delivery of multiple research projects.

About The Project
This research takes a deep dive into the underlying physiology of warfighters with poor sleep quality or insomnia, with a focus on quantifying the sympathetic or "fight or flight" system.
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with staffing, hiring, salary negotiations, and performance review process for staffIn collaboration with PI and Human Resources, conduct counseling, corrective action, up to and including terminationOversee programmatic / study-related conduct ensuring staff perform tasks within scope of projectEnsure research staff demonstrate a basic understanding of their job descriptions and work requirementsPlan and facilitate individual and team meetingsEnsure employees comply with Geneva and site policies and SOPsRESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the execution and conduct of projects and cross-functional project teams to ensure that all project activities are conducted efficiently and in compliance with all applicable regulations, deliverables, and SOPsEstablish and maintain comprehensive timelines for each study and use these timelines to drive study team activitiesCollaborate with Project Director and / or PI to ensure alignment of study timelines, risk reviews, and budgets with higher-level program timelinesSupport development of comprehensive study budgets in partnership with site and portfolio teams and help the team manage costs to established budgetsDevelop study-related forecasts (e.g., spend, team performance, etc.), manage and track overall program budget, track and provide financial reports as requestedContribute to development and implementation of various cross-functional study plans and materials (e.g., communication plans, project management plans, etc.)Provide guidance to portfolio and project teams on project management tools and its governance processFacilitate ongoing risk management activities including identification and tracking of risks and issuesDevelop, design, coordinate production, and assist with the distribution of marketing materials and / or research dissemination for projectsTrack and report on project progress and status (financial, project, etc.) to established oversight committees and relevant stakeholdersEnsure study activities are conducted in compliance with applicable regulationsAssist with preparation of technical or sponsor required reportingAssist with preparation of funding applicationsPromote networking opportunities with sponsors and researchersQUALIFICATIONS
