Care Partner-Evening Shift-Full Time

Position Purpose

As a Care Partner at The Geneva Suites, you play a vital role in creating a warm, supportive home environment for our residents. More than just providing care, you build meaningful connections that promote health, wellness, and quality of life, all while embodying our C.A.R.E.S. Core Values.

Shifts Available:Full-Time Evening (2pm-10pm)

Wage Range: $18.00 - $21.00 (DOE & certifications)

Experience/Job Skills Requirements

• High School Graduate
• CNA or Home Health Aide (HHA) course completion preferred but not required
• Satisfactory completion of competency test
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend and carry out directions and instructions
• Able to function effectively with minimal direct supervision
• Good health status and emotional stability
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to resident service and service excellence
  
  

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and team members by fostering trust and open communication
• Handle conflicts professionally, escalating unresolved issues appropriately
• Adjust to changing resident needs with patience and flexibility
• Maintains a positive attitude even in challenging situations
• Ensures residents’ rooms, clothing, and personal spaces are clean and well-maintained
• Perform assigned tasks efficiently and within expected timeframes
• Following through on responsibilities without repeated reminders
• Adheres to policies and procedures, including emergency and infection control protocols
• Activities of Daily Living such as brushing teeth, taking shower, dressing etc.
• Indirect Care of Daily Living such as washing clothes, maintaining a clean house (sweeping, mopping)
• Performing other delegated tasks as assigned
  
  

Working Condition Requirements

Sit, Stand, Walk, Bend/Stoop, Squat, Crawl. Reach above shoulder, reach below shoulder level, Lift, Carry, Push, Pull Maximum 50 lbs. – Continually, Over 50 lbs. - Frequently
