Hairstylist/Barber

We are seeking experienced and stylists&barbers to join our team at The Gentry Men’s Salon. As a stylist and barber, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, skill, and passion for hairdressing while providing exceptional service to our valued clients.

Responsibilities:

- Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, trimming, styling.

- Consult with clients to understand their haircare needs, preferences, and desired outcomes

- Offer professional advice and recommendations on hairstyle choices and maintenance

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing tools and equipment regularly

- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service and communication skills

Qualifications:

- A valid cosmetology license or certification as a stylist and barber

- Proven experience working as a stylist and barber in a salon or barbershop setting

- Ability to listen and understand clients' needs and translate them into stylish solutions

- Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules, including evenings and weekends

Our pay starts with a base hourly rate and commission.

The productivity bonuses are earned easily and immediately. These bonuses are structured so that even part time hairstylists and barbers earn them.

We are a walk-in Shop, so a hairstylist or barber that's new to our Shop, or even the area, will still get immediate clientele.
