Job Summary:
The GEO Group seeks a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources professional to serve as a key member of our management team. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that drive business results and foster a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to facility management on HR-related matters, providing guidance on compliance, policy development, and employee relations.
- Support local recruiting efforts, ensuring timely hiring processes and high-quality candidate experiences.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive personnel records, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with Company procedures.
- Administer employee developmental training programs, coaching employees on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with Regional and Corporate HR teams to resolve complex employee issues and ensure alignment with Company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.
- Seven years of progressive experience in Human Resources or a related field, with a minimum of three years in a supervisory capacity.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
- Proven track record of successfully managing sensitive and confidential information, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Windows, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other computer programs commonly used by HR professionals.
- US citizenship or lawful permanent resident status required.
