Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty : Medical / Surgical

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour Night Shift

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Experience :

  • Med / Surg Experience : 2 Years
  • RN Experience : 2 Years
  • Cerner Experience : Required

License : Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the respective state / district

Certifications :
  • NIHSS
  • ACLS

    • Must-Have :

  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
  • BSN is highly desired

    • Job Description :

  • Fulfill the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner.
  • Apply knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan to provide age-appropriate care.
  • Demonstrate the ability to obtain and interpret information regarding the patients' needs.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the range of treatments needed by these patients.
  • Make initial assessments and determine appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
  • Perform initial and ongoing assessment of all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
  • Complete admission assessments within the timeframe established according to policy and procedures.
