Job Title: Gala Coordinator
Report Relationship: Development Director
Job Summary:
This position coordinates with the development director, marketing team, and Gala committee to execute activities associated with the Georgetown Palace Theatre Gala benefitting Palace Education. Focus areas include but are not limited to procuring and tracking donations for the silent auction (front-facing community outreach), creating and managing the online auction in advance of the event, assisting development director with sponsorship management, coordinating with the marketing team on social media campaign and graphics, and day of event preparation.
Essential Functions:
· Support development director in all activities related to theGala
· Create tracking sheet for silent auction donations
· Assist with sponsorship management
· Contact businesses for silent auction donations
· Manage digital auction site
· Collaborate with marketing team to create social media campaign to promote Gala
· Act as point of contact for Gala committee
· Assist with day of set up/activities
· Coordinate volunteers to work check-in table and assist with silent auction
