The Infection Control Nurse (RN) will plan, organize, develop, coordinate, and direct our infection control program and its activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern such programs. Responsibilities : Responsible for managing and directing the infection control programming. Responds to emergencies appropriately to nursing / facility emergencies according to established policies and procedures. Stays current with State Department of Health directives and ensures that same are implemented by staff. Reviews the daily nursing report and responds appropriately to specific nursing and personnel issues. S.N preferred but not required with experience.
