The primary purpose of this position is to receive, process, and prepare products. The team member is also responsible for stocking shelves, cases, and bins while maintaining food safety and quality assurance standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Receives, processes, prepares, wraps, slices, weighs, marks, and packages products
* Maintains proper shelf, case and display conditions, including stocking, cleaning, straightening
and rotating products
* Maintains proper cooler conditions, including rotating, organizing, and cleaning cases of product
* Maintains proper prep area conditions, including cleaning and sanitizing of work surfaces,
Utensils, and equipment
* Adheres to all federal, state, and local regulations, as they apply to the deli area
* Maintains safe and clean sales floor conditions
* When designated, directs, and supervises the functions and activities of the deli department in absence of the deli manager
* Works independently with minimal direction/supervision
* Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative
* Customer-oriented attitude
* Demonstrates the company's values of CARE, INTEGRITY, TEAMWORK, COURAGE, and HUMOR
* Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
* Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.
* Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
* Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
* Shift Hours: Minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needs
