About the Job:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Associate Specialist to join our team at The GIANT Company. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for receiving deliveries, breaking down loads, and rotating cooler stock. You will also be expected to weigh, price, and label products, as well as stock cases and select products for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming meat shipments
- Break down and rotate cooler stock to ensure freshness and quality
- Weigh, price, and label products for sale
- Stock and face merchandise in accordance with company standards
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a retail or food industry setting preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
