The Gibbs Firm is a national property tax law firm active in all fifty states. The Gibbs Firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their team
The Legal Assistant will work under supervision to prepare petitions, appeals and complaints. Prepare legal contracts, settlement documents, hearing presentation and data entry.
This position includes the traditional legal secretarial responsibilities, such as reviewing and communicating dockets to attorneys, creating new files as needed, maintaining calendars, time entry, client billing, and general administrative duties.
Our caseload is growing and the ideal candidate for this position is organized, professional, responsible, and committed to helping meet client needs.
Bachelor's degree required or Certified paralegal credentials
1-3 years of relevant experience
Job Types: Internship, Contract, Full-time
Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
