Compensation for this role: $21.00 - $23.00 hourly
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
Summary:
Under general supervision, performs tasks in the maintenance of a plant or office building in two or more skilled areas including basic plumbing, electrical, painting and custodial.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Cleans production areas to include trash removal, mopping, and dusting.
- General groundskeeping duties.
- Repairs toilets, urinals, faucets, flush valves, and drinking fountains.
- Replaces light bulbs and ballasts; dusts vents, replace ceiling tiles.
- Paint equipment, bathrooms, and building walls.
- Moves furniture as needed.
- Pick-up/deliver parts for maintenance and production.
- Perform drywall repair and basic carpentry.
- Works in a safe manner following all departmental and plant safety rules. Reports any unsafe work conditions to Safety Manager, supervisor, or management.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Required:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Basic knowledge of two trades to perform basic repair/maintenance.
- Must have English reading, writing and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, write, and understand and communicate the company operating procedures and policies.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; sit; stoop; bend; balance; kneel; climb; crouch; or crawl; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally team lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
