Job Description: Marketing Coordinator
Salary Range: $21 - $29 per hour
Positing overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Coordinator with a strong understanding of digital and community engagement strategies. This role will drive our presence in key community events, ensure our brand's consistency, and keep our firm at the forefront of social media trends. The ideal candidate will have experience in event coordination, social media, and digital marketing, be fluent in both English and Spanish, and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Engagement and Event Participation
- Research and recommend community events that align with our firm’s typical client base.
- Coordinate and manage the firm’s participation in local events, conferences, and community activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and event sponsors.
- Marketing Collateral and Client-Facing Materials
- Assist in preparing pitches, proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials.
- Support various marketing programs, webinars, and networking events as required.
- Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and client demographics, using insights to adjust our marketing strategies.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Track, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics to identify successes and areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports summarizing key findings and present recommendations to the marketing team.
- Brand Consistency and Marketing Materials
- Manage, maintain inventory and keep all marketing material fresh and ready for presentation.
- Monitor all branding materials (e.g., banners, newsletters, email signatures) to ensure they align with the firm’s brand guidelines.
- Develop and enforce branding guidelines to maintain a cohesive look and tone across all communications.
- Provide quality control and proofreading for marketing communication pieces, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
- Website and Digital Presence
- Monitor the firm’s website, suggest updates, and work with web developers for implementation when needed.
- Track and analyze website performance and report metrics to the Managing Attorneys.
- Digital Marketing and Social Media
- Monitor and analyze social media trends to recommend which strategies are best suited to our firm’s objectives.
- Ensure the main office space is prepared and recording-ready for videos and digital content.
- Oversee social media accounts, monitor engagement, and create or recommend content that aligns with the firm’s brand.
- Clerical Support & Backup Responsibilities
- Provide general clerical assistance as needed
- Serve as a backup for the reception phones and the office mail clerk to ensure smooth daily operations during absences or peak times.
- Additional support to the Managing Partner as required to ensure seamless office operations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in marketing coordination, ideally within a professional services environment.
Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Experience in coordinating and participating in community and sponsored events.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and tools, with an eye for current trends.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
- Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of design software is a plus but not required.
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Position details
- Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST.
- Fully in office position.
