The Associate Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their assigned building within the daycare/learning center. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, this role ensures that staff, children, and programs operate efficiently and in compliance with center policies.
Duties
- Assume duties of Center Director and Teachers as needed during their absence.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure adherence to quality standards in accordance with Center guidelines and state and local requirements; implement improvements where needed.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations.
- Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Work with families to address concerns, enrollment needs, and program participation.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, and payroll oversight.
- Monitor the effectiveness of programs and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- 3 years of professional experience in an early childhood leadership role
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Must clear full background check.
- Must pass health screening.
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
