Job Summary:
We are seeking , both full and part time, compassionate, energetic, and dependable Teacher Assistants to join our team. As a Teacher Assistant, you will support lead teachers in creating a fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with young children and making a meaningful impact on their early learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing daily classroom activities
Supervise children to ensure safety and promote positive behaviors
Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
Support children’s social and emotional development through active engagement
Assist with meals, toileting, and hygiene routines as needed
Observe and document children’s progress and behavior
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff
Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; CDA or Early Childhood Education credits preferred
Experience working with young children (ages 0-5) in a daycare or preschool setting is a plus
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children
