The Penny Ice Creamery is seeking an inspiring and dedicated leader to join our organization as the Shop Manager of our two locations in the South Bay!
The Shop Manager role is a great fit for a hands-on, ambitious, and organized professional who is excited and prepared to manage and oversee two Penny Ice Creamery locations and teams in Santa Clara County.
The Penny Ice Creamery Shop Manager ensures the smooth and efficient daily operations of two specified locations. This person must be a hands-on, dynamic leader who is comfortable in taking full responsibility for multiple shops. The Shop Manager is able to quickly adapt and change gears throughout the day; they are available on a consistent and reliable basis to meet shop needs and staffing needs as they arise.
The Shop Manager works closely with upper management to achieve business objectives at the shop level by implementing strategy through a combination of skillful execution and effective leadership. A sense of ownership and personal autonomy are required to succeed in this role, as well as the ability to build and nurture vital relationships with team members, vendors, patrons and the surrounding community. This person represents our well-established brand in both Santa Clara County and Santa Cruz County.
This person manages our two South Bay locations :
- The Penny Ice Creamery in the State Street Market in Los Altos (170 State Street), and
- The Penny Ice Creamery in the Town and Country Village in Palo Alto (855 El Camino Real).
