Glen Ellyn District 41 is Seeking a Full-Time 2nd Grade Teacher at Churchill Elementary for the 2025-2026 School Year
License Requirements : IL PEL(Professional Educator License) with an Elementary Education Endorsement required
The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge and skills :
- Strong knowledge of elementary teaching methodology and child development
- Understanding and willingness to differentiate instruction, as needed, for multiple learning styles and ability levels
- Experience with a wide range of teaching, classroom management, and assessment strategies and the ability to apply these in the elementary classroom setting
- Willingness and ability to collaborate with classroom teachers on content area instruction and student needs
- Ability and commitment necessary to develop and continuously improve curriculum for elementary students
- Ability to communicate student progress to parents and to classroom teachers
