Scheduler - Home Health - Full-time

The Glenview at Pelican Bay is a premier continuing care retirement community located in beautiful, sunny Naples, Florida.

We are currently considering candidates for a hospitality focused Scheduler. Candidates must have a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding and superior hospitality.

We currently have the following shifts available: Full-time.

The Scheduler at The Glenview at Pelican Bay assigns staff to meet the changing healthcare needs of the Residents.

The Scheduler will assist our clients with services including but not limited to:

• Services the needs of the client by conferring with the Office Manager or DON for direction and offers the case to qualified health care staff who are available for assignment.

• Maintain an active employee list of available caregivers to facilitate prompt assignment of staff to each case.

• Views client and the clients' family as the primary customer of scheduling activities and focuses on meeting their needs.

• Maintain a working knowledge of the weekly overtime status of all scheduled caregivers when considering them for new assignments.

• Validate caregiver documentation against schedules and reconciles any differences.

• Bi-weekly prepare payroll.

• Monthly billing of all caregiver hours.

Skills/Qualifications:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must possess the skills and job-related knowledge to perform the above functions. Good interpersonal and teamwork skills. Minimum of one years' experience in home health or other related health care community and have a limited knowledge of state and federal guidelines for home care. Must pass an extensive criminal background check and drug screen.
