IRA SPECIALIST

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IRA checks, ensuring proper processing and documentation.
- Open and sort all IRA-related mail, directing items to the appropriate department or personnel.
- Assist with IRA contributions by verifying documentation, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
- Supporting IRA distributions, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Conduct research on IRA-related gifts, including verifying donor information and tracking contributions.
- Update and maintain IRA forms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current policies.
- Provide administrative support to the IRA team, including data entry, recordkeeping and responding to internal inquiries.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager that are consistent with the basic requirements of the position.
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to maintain a high level of concentration with frequent time pressures and constant interruptions.
- Ability to track and maintain detailed information with frequent changes and updates.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to maintain sustained visual attention for considerable periods of time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of two years of IRA knowledge is required.
- Experience in Trust, banking, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
