As an Advanced Mathematical Analyst, you will join a team of over 100 math and computer science gaming math experts that specialize in probability, statistics and simulation programming. The advanced math analyst position requires a solid foundation in all three disciplines as you will be counted on to solve the most challenging games submitted to the Lab. You will use computer programming as a tool to verify theoretical probability models using statistics. Some games will have completely random results whereas others require optimal strategies to be calculated. Our analysts will look to you for support when they are stuck on a problem or need feedback on a proposed solution. We expect our analysts to learn from you and your approach to problem solving.
Candidates with proven experience calculating house edge for table games with strategy components will be viewed favorably.

Devises optimal strategies and simulations to solve problems that cannot be solved using traditional methods.
Review the math calculation tools submitted by manufacturers and determine if these tools are mathematically accurate.
Maintains an understanding of how each gaming jurisdiction's regulations should be applied to the math analysis.
Assists in the interpretation of jurisdictional regulations regarding math topics.
Works independently as a subject matter expert.
Troubleshoots and responds to issues, including analyzing data trends to address problems.
Answers or responds to escalated project questions or issues.
Tracks project milestones and provides accurate and timely status reports to leadership.
Reviews game source code to determine consistency between the math and the actual game operation.
Reviews RNG source code to understand the algorithms used to generate random values and determine if the outcome can be influenced by any means.
Analyzes the results from RNG tests and draws accurate conclusions from the data.
Experience, Education, Skills and Credentials:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline
Must have knowledge of Probability, Statistics, and Combinatorics
Must have knowledge of C , Java, or other equivalent programming language(s), including the appropriate use of object-oriented design.
Must have an understanding of core programming concepts and techniques
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required
Must have the ability to communicate, both orally and written, with other members of the team and external contacts
Ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines is required
Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness
Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation
Location: This is an in-person, full-time position based out of our Lakewood, NJ office.
Schedule: Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $95,000K annually based on experience
Travel: Must have the ability to travel up to 5%.
