Proposal Coordinator, Remote
We are looking for the right person to join our Public Knowledge® team to help coordinate our proposal efforts. We’re looking for someone with a combination of superior organizational and writing skills, plus the ability to be productive in a virtual company. We are NOT looking for a “salesperson,” but we do want someone who can understand and communicate the value we provide to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsive to time-sensitive and deadline-driven proposal efforts, flexible in meeting multiple priorities, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job responsibilities include:
Opportunity Screening Assistance:
Reviewing solicitation emails for opportunities for our firm and sending potential opportunities to our Business Development (BD) Team for further screening
Tracking BD decisions in our database
Keeping our database for procurement opportunities current
Proposal Development Assistance:
Following the proposal process
Compiling standard information for proposals (e.g. firm description, resumes, bios, project descriptions)
Creating and editing proposal graphics
Completing required forms in solicitation responses
Formatting final documents for internal review
Supporting the technical writers and management consultants as needed
Resume Assistance:
Supporting resume development for consultants
Following a style guide for writing resumes
Supporting consultants with creating and updating resumes and biographies
Coordinating project description updates and maintaining our database with accurate descriptions for use in resumes
Tailoring resumes and biographies to specific opportunities
Required Education and Other Credentials:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Valid Driver’s License
Required Experience and Skills:
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must have clear, concise written and verbal communication
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
Must have flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to new situations
Must have ability to establish and cultivate strong work relationships
Must have demonstrated life-long learning skills
Desire to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, environment
Ability and willingness to travel (reasonable travel will be required)
Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines
Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness
Ability to work with colleagues in a virtual environment (via conference calls, web meetings, and using digital collaboration tools such as Zoom and cloud document repository)
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to work from a home-based office
Must have the ability to work at a computer for extensive periods of time
Must have the ability to speak on the telephone for extended periods of time
Must have the ability to read (paper or computer screen) for extended periods of time
Must have sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other Company equipment
Must have the ability to be self-driven, work independently and as part of a team
Location: This is a remote position, full-time. We are seeking candidates who are willing to be available during Mountain and Pacific time zones
Schedule: Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000 annually
Travel: Up to 5%
