What will you be doing?
- Participate in and lead user research methodologies, including heuristic analysis, competitor analysis, user interviews, usability studies, and affinity mapping, to observe user interactions and behaviors. Uncover insights and identify opportunities for improvement, ensuring designs are user centered.
- Define, clearly communicate, and solve issues that are valuable, viable, usable and feasible, using wireframes and prototypes as a main canvas to communicate and collaborate ideas with the team.
- Design the minimum viable product (MVP) while continuously incorporating feedback.
- Deliver incremental value to users through iterations mapped out with user flows, wireframes, timelines, key milestones, and other deliverables.
- Ensure the overall user experience is cohesive, consistent, and intuitive. Align designs with business strategy while effectively addressing user needs.
- Collaborate across all product teams to identify problems, generate new ideas, and share solutions.
- Assist Product Design Manager in establishing project timelines to communicate expected delivery dates effectively.
- Work closely with developers to implement designs, ensuring accessibility principles are integrated across all designs and departments.
- Monitor design post-implementation for user engagement and frustrations, ensuring continuous improvement.
Qualifications
What is expected of you:
- Keen ability to work in an agile environment with product managers, software engineering teams, designers, and project managers.
- Expertise in designing with Figma (or similar software like Sketch) across multiple platforms such as mobile, web, iOS, and Android.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present research, ideas, wireframes, tests results, and prototype designs clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep experience in understanding user problems based on thorough research and insights.
- Advanced skills in prototyping design solutions to address complex design challenges.
- Comprehensive understanding of usability and user experience principles.
- Intricate knowledge of accessibility principles and their implementation to ensure designs are inclusive and user-friendly for all users.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity with innovative solutions and collaborate with other departments and stakeholders.

- Drive continual discovery and research to enhance the overall user experience of the product. Measure and understand user behaviors to inform design decisions.
- Lead the creation and refinement of usable prototypes for testing with actual users to solve design problems.
- Oversee and lead efforts in increasing internal efficiency in our end-to-end process to support scalability.
