Assistant Teacher

The Goddard School at Bethlehem is a renowned program and a leader in the preschool industry. We are looking for Assistant Teachers for our program for an immediate start date.

We are looking for a fun and energetic Full Time Assistant Teachers and floaters

Your job will include helping the Lead teacher with:

• · Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
• · Educating Children: Advancing children’s physical and intellectual competence. Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
• · Nurturing Children: Supporting each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance. Ensure an effective program, responsive to children’s needs
• · Being a Communicator: Establish positive and effective family relations
• · Being a Team Player: Participate in staff and training meetings. Committing to continuing education. Maintaining professional commitment.

Requirements

• Bring your smile, a great personality and strong communication skills to work!
• A CDA or Degree in Education or Early Childhood Education highly preferred, as well as experience working with young children.
• Love for children; ability to have fun with them!

The hours of the school are 6:30am to 6:00pm Monday-Friday.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
