Early Childhood Director
Chesterfield, Missouri
The Goddard School located in Chesterfield, Missouri is currently seeking a qualified full time Director.
The position is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Please do not apply if you can not work these hours.
The Assistant Director must be professionally prepared as a management member. They must, after an offer of employment is made, produce a current physical examination by a physician with a tuberculin test or chest x-ray, have approved state clearance forms for child abuse and a certificate demonstrating an approved criminal record check.
Daily Responsibilities:

The responsibilities include:

- Proactively communicate with families, clients, staff, and licensing to provide exemplary customer service.
- Assist in the daily responsibilities of operating the center, including guiding the center team and providing feedback to help each employee grow.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback.
- Ensure that all classrooms are following the Wonder of Learning curriculum.
- Support the teachers with challenges and provide support.
- Conduct parent meetings when needed.
- Positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Deep love for children and a strong commitment to education.
Job Requirements
- BA in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred
- Prior classroom experience (Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K, Kindergarten) preferred
- A minimum of 1 years of experience as an administrator in a preschool setting is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of Missouri Licensing requirements
- Strong computer, verbal, written, and communication skills
- Experience with maintaining a summer camp program is preferred
