We are looking for Full Time Toddler Assistant Teachers (children ages 1 - 2 years old) excited to impact the lives of students in a professional and exciting early childhood setting. The position is Monday - Friday 9:00am-6:00pm
Responsibilities
- Work with age range of toddler children
- Follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material
- Provide basic care and caregiving activities
- Help to implement age appropriate lesson plans and use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc.) to enhance the child’s abilities
- Positive and professional communication with parents on a daily basis
- Observe children’s interactions and promote the spirit of concord
- Collaborate with other colleagues
- Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources
Skills
- Proven experience as a child care / daycare teacher
- Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods
- Methodical and creative
- Patience, flexibility and love for children
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Certificate in first aid and CPR (not required; we will provide training)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.75 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
