The Goddard School located in LITHIA (FISHHAWK) is seeking to hire an Assistant Teachers for the Infant/Toddler classroom.
The Goddard School is a leader in the childcare industry and provides high quality early childhood education to children 6 weeks to 6 years. We believe in education and fun! We are looking for candidates with excellent experience and a strong sense of ownership and responsibility in the classroom. (Candidates applying for Full-Time positions must be flexible and able to work an eight-hour shift between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm.)

Our program will pair you with a dedicated Lead/Assistant Teacher to support you in the classroom and we have also invested heavily in technology to aid Teachers in writing and executing curriculum as well as communicating efficiently and effectively with parents.

Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Highschool Diploma or CDA or an Associates Degree
- Responsible for the overall day-to-day class management
- Plan for and write daily curriculum based on the State of Florida Early Learning Standards & Guidelines and Goddard Developmental Guidelines
- Work to improve quality and consistency of care for all children enrolled in the class
- Meet the school's requirements spanning quality assurance, curriculum, and activities
- Comply with all state and local regulations as well as The Goddard School’s Health & Safety standards (quality assurance)
- Update class decorations and maintain child portfolios and continuous child assessments
- Ability to work with faculty and children from a variety of backgrounds and cultures; promotes diversity in the classroom
