What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Toddler Teacher position at The Goddard School located in Snohomish/Mill Creek?
The Goddard School in Snohomish is seeking an energetic and compassionate Assistant Teacher to work with our Toddler students! Students in this class range from 18-24 months of age. This classroom is staffed with a Lead and Assistant Teacher who work together along with the rest of our faculty to create a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment for our families.
Our school is lead by an Education Director and two On-Site Owners. As administrators we strive to create a positive and supportive work environment for our faculty every day. We believe that our teachers are the heart and soul of our program and are incredibly lucky to have such a great group of teachers in our school!
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm with an hour long lunch break.
Our Assistant Teachers are responsible for:
- Supporting the implementation of educational and creative lesson planning.
- Communicating in a professional manner with families and coworkers
- Working as a team with a Lead Teacher and members of our Support Staff.
- Upholding Goddard Quality Assurance Health and Safety standards.

Assistant teachers are required to have:
- Experience working with young children
- Good References
Additional Requirements:
- CPR/First Aid Training & clear TB test
- 30 Hour STARS training
- Department of Early Learning Background Check
