The Goddard School located in Chicago (South Loop), IL 60616 is looking for motivated self-starters for multiple positions as a Daycare Teachers at our new preschool for ages ranging from 6 weeks to 6 years. Our state of the art facility is expanding in the South Loop neighborhood of Chicago downtown, just blocks away from CTA and Metra Electric.
Overview
A Lead Toddler Teacher is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment. Additionally a teacher is responsible to work together with another teacher and in conjunction with the entire faculty.
Educational Qualifications
An Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Elementary Education, Child Development or a related field.
Bachelors degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Elementary Education, Child Development or a related field is preferred.
Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification.
Lead Toddler Teacher Responsibilities :
Establish and maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
Develop an appropriate classroom management system to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom
Ensure that children are always within state ratio requirements
